7th Annual Just Read, Florida! K-12 Leadership Conference June 29-July 2, 2008, Orlando
The 7th Annual Just Read, Florida! K-12 Leadership Conference will take place Sunday, June 29, 2008, through Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
The Just Read, Florida! Office hosts this conference annually for all Florida superintendents, principals and reading/literacy coaches.
This year, we are inviting teacher leaders to attend as well.
This summer promises to be the most exciting event ever with over 300 concurrent sessions.

You may still continue to register and be placed on a waiting list for slots that may become available between now and the conference. If you do not require lodging to attend the conference, you may continue to register and will be accepted to attend.
I want to thank all of the educators who attended or presented at the 6th Annual Just Read, Florida! Leadership Conference. Many participants commented that they were energized by the presentations that they attended, and I sincerely hope that each of you found the conference to be beneficial and relevant to your learning needs. We have already begun the planning process for the 2008 conference and will inform you as soon as dates are finalized. Thank you for all that you do daily in providing on-going visionary leadership in the implementation of your K-12 Comprehensive Reading Plans. The importance of leadership cannot be overstated in an environment where the goal is that every student becomes a successful reader.
